To understand the kingdom of God and how it functions we must first know it's location and reality. For many the kingdom of God is something in the distant future that will be established after what many calls the "second coming of Christ." We must first understand that the kingdom of God is not literal and does not come by observation. It cannot be seen with the natural eye. Anyman who is looking for a natural kingdom set up here on earth with a man sitting on it's throne as king will be greatly disappointed.

It is of great significance when Jesus came preaching the kingdom, he said the kingdom of God is within you. Think about that for a moment. From this statement we can know it's location and see that the kingdom of God is a present reality. Paul tells us that the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. God established his kingdom in man when he created man in his image and likeness. When we understand the truth about the kingdom of God and begins to live out of it's reality then things in our lives begin to shift, move and change.

The kingdom of God is simply the life of God flowing out of us. The message of the kingdom of God is one of peace, love and righteousness, yet Christendom has not help by spreading a gospel that is filled with as much bad news as there are in this present world.

The gospel of the kingdom Jesus preached is not earthly in nature, neither is it indicative that it is reserved for a future time. There is a belief system set up today, that in order to enter the kingdom of God one must believe into it. There is no scripture to support such teaching.

The kingdom of God is under the rule and authority of the Most High. Christendom has taught us that man and God is separate and so many seek a God who resides in the sky and as a result of this fail to live from the kingdom of God within them. Because of this mindset many struggle within themselves trying to draw closer to God, fasting, praying and believing all in an attempt to draw closer to God. This belief system has robbed the people of God of their very life. It is time we learn to hear by the spirit what the father is saying to us.

It is the father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom, a kingdom that is flowing out to all men and filling the whole earth. A kingdom that is unshakeable bringing peace, love and joy on earth as it is in heaven.
