One
man is sleeping and the whole world is dreaming. Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light. Many today are hearing the voice of the father and are waking up to their true identity. Ephesians 5:14 Jesus came
from the realm of the spirit and was clothed in flesh. Our birth did not begin when we came into this world. Like Jesus, we
too descended from the realm of the spirit and our reality was covered over by the flesh. Paul
said of Jesus, a body has thou prepared me. John said, the word was made flesh and dwelt among (midst, center of our being)
us. His true identity was covered over by flesh as he was placed into the womb
(mind) of a virgin. At his birth all the world was taxed, so the seed could
leave the place of being hidden and be manifested to the world. He was born in a manger. The manger is made of wood,
and wood speaks to us of humanity. To understand who we are we need to find our identity in him. Luke 2:11 say, For unto
you is born this day in the city of David (speaks of us) a Savior, which is CHRIST the Lord.
When
Jesus was revealed at Bethlehem, the world knew it not because he was hidden in
the manger of humanity. They looked for him one way and he came another. God was made flesh and tabernacled among us. He was
hidden in the flesh of all his creation, at the tomb we see the same scenario. Matthew 27:59-60 And when Joseph had taken
the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he
rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed. The great stone represents for us the mistaken identity,
was sealed tightly against the tomb. The tomb speaks of the mind of man who is asleep to his true identity. Fearful of the
disciples coming and stealing the body of Jesus, guards or soldiers were place at the entrance of the tomb to keep the stone
in place. The soldiers are the protectors of the mind and thought life. It is the imagination of man. They were there
to protect from without and not from within. Great was the work going on inside the tomb. The sleeper within is arising in
his true identity and reality.
Humanity
is completely sealed in the tomb and fate of Adam's mistaken identity. Like the caterpillar changing into a butterfly
even so the seal must be tight. Jesus came from within the tomb or mind of man. Paul said, The heavens must retain Christ
until the restitution of all things. He unveiled himself leaving a wrapping (skin of the old identity) at the head, and another
at the feet (walk of the old man) of the bed. When Jesus walked out of the tomb he walked out in the resurrection power and
left the wrapping behind that bound humanity. He unveiled himself in the darkness (ignorance and lack of understanding) of
the tomb or natural mind. When he removed the last linen wrapping or mortality it was then he was seen of men. Darkness and
death could not hold him captive who is the light of all men. Jesus brought life to all men and this was done while the tomb
was sealed. We need not worry about the fate of creation; the plan of the father included all men. When he walked out in this new day, all of creation walked out in the newness of life, for as in Adam all
died, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. All of humanity may not know it just yet, but the scripture declares, All
shall know me from the least to the greatest.
Understand
he was revealed in the manger to those who were called to see it first, while
the rest of humanity was asleep, sealed in the tombs of the mistaken identity and mortality, groaning, waiting for this new
day, the kingdom of God manifested in the earth, when every man shall come forth each in his own order. Once again he was
sealed away from the world but it did not stop the seed from coming forth in the power and resurrection of life. In John 11:24 Jesus says of Lazarus, where have you laid him? This is a question that held great
significance and importance as Lazarus is unveiled at the tomb. Lazarus was dead
and so the people placed him in the tomb, the realm of death but Jesus did not see him there, he saw him sleeping (John 11:12). Asleep to his true identity and existence. They placed him in a realm that they were
familiar with, the realm of death. Standing in their midst is the resurrection
and life but with a vision that was limited only to the physical realm, they could not see his reality. Jesus came to the
tomb and caused the stone to be rolled away. Again the stone speaks of the mistaken identity. He told them the son of man
came to restore life and restore it more abundantly. He declared to Martha, I
am the resurrection (Luke 11:25). He was revealing to her his true reality, her
true reality if she could receive it. She could not see it, neither could they. He was revealing to them a higher form of
life and living.
Our
reality is in the spirit, it is life and peace without a death consciousness. There must be a change in our thinking and consciousness.
Each of us must experience the fullness of salvation within our self from the cross to the tomb. From the mistaken identity
to the Christ consciousness. It is only by living and functioning from our true identity that we escape the corruptions of
the old man identity wherein we were subject to decay, sin and death. We have become partakers of his divine nature,
and so we were released from our death state into his resurrected state of life. In other words we have passed from death
to life. When this reality has taken place consciously in our mind, we can walk in the newness of his resurrection and life.
We
need to find ourselves in the resurrected Christ and begin to live and function from there. We cannot pull our self up out
of a lifeless state by thinking about it. Thinking results in the mistaken identity. We
can only live in the finish work. I once heard someone said, Who shall roll the
stone away for us, seeing we have but little strength? Today I want to say; beloved IT IS FINISHED! I am free, you are free!!
I am crucified with Christ, when he died I died and I am no longer a container for sin. We are no longer subject to
the law of sin and death. The life which I now live, I live by the faith of the son of God. The I that lives is the Christ
and he has replaced me. When I died I had a replacement identity. I have reckoned the old man dead and I am alive in Christ
who is my true identity. The mystery of our identity lies within us, Christ in
you the glory. He is no longer the hope, but to us he is the glory. Psalm 17:15
I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. It is only when the Christ consciousness dwells fully in us will we awake in his likeness and image, our
true reality. Our life was revealed at the tomb when we was brought to life, and Jesus walked out our true
identity and existence.
May
the father continue to unfold within you the mind of Christ as you live and move and be in him.
