We must share from our experiences walking as far as we have come
in our true identity which is Christ. It is as we share with each other from our spirit that the Christ is raised up (resurrected)
and the death of Uzziah takes place. When Uzziah died, they buried him in the field of the burial (2 Chronicles 26:23). The
field of the burial speaks of the mind that has reckoned the old man dead. Then Jotham his son reigned in his stead. Uzziah
is a type of the old man identity. When we reckon the old man dead, Jotham the new man(Christ consciousness) begins to reign.
Jotham is a type of the sons of God walking in their true identity
which is Christ. Until we have experienced the death of Uzziah we will never see or experience the Lord high and lifted up
(Isaiah 6:1). We will never know the reality of the Christ mind functioning in us as us. Jotham means Jehovah is perfect.
When that which is perfect is come all that is in the realm of illusion, all that is in part and everything that issues out
of the old man identity comes to an end. Jotham was 25 years when he began to reign. 25 is 5X5. Five is the number of grace.
Twenty-five is grace unlimited. He reigned in unlimited grace unlike his father Uzziah. Jotham reigned for 16 years in Jerusalem.
Sixteen is 8X2. Eight is the number of new beginning and two is the number of witness. Jotham is a witness to his beginning
in Christ. 1 John 1:1 that which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen (witness with our eyes),
which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the word of life. Like Jotham life for us began way before our birth.
He reigns in Jerusalem meaning peaceful. Not only did he reign in unlimited grace, but in peace witnessing the work the father
did from the beginning to the end.
His mothers name also was Jerusha, she was the daughter of Zadok
(vs. 1). His mother speaks to us of the origin of his birth. Jerusha means possessing. Proverbs 8:22 The Lord possessed me
in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. She was the daughter of Zadok meaning just/righteous. This speaks to
us of a state of being that is unchangeable. Our reality is in God and it is unchangeable. Verse 2 tells us he did that which
was right in the sight of the Lord. The word right in this verse is translated just. Verse 2 how be it he entered not into
the temple of the Lord. The word temple here speaks of the inner sanctuary. Jotham understood union life unlike his father
Uzziah who functioned from a mistake in identity. Jotham did not enter into his temple because he knew he was created in Christ
and he and the father are one.
Verse 3 say, He built the high gate of the house of the Lord and
on the wall of Ophel he built much. The high gate speaks of the foundation of the house of the Lord. We are built on the foundation
of the apostles and prophets and Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone. Verse 4 he built cities in the mountain of Judah.
Cities speak of Churches (Body of Christ). The mountains (speak of the lives) of the people, and Judah meaning praise. Paul
said, "we are built up a spiritual house to show forth the praises of him that called us. Verse 4 continuing; in the forests
he built castles and towers. The forests is a type of the thoughts of men. Castles is from the word parambole meaning lit.
A casting in among, an insertion, it denotes the formation of an army, it is a military word, and it speaks to us of the renewing
of the mind. Towers are the lifestyle manifesting the Christ to all men.
Jotham knew the mind of Christ was buried beneath years of human
thinking and reasoning and by renewing the mind, the Christ consciousness is manifested. The greatest gospel he can preach
is the life he was living and this same truth applies to us too. Verse 5 unlike his father he fought with the king of the
Ammorites (the old man identity and its altered reality) and prevailed against them. His experience prevailing over the Ammorites
came in stages. Every stage that he walked in his experience a metamorphosis was taking place. This change took place because
he was walking in his true identity which is Christ. His experience was spiritual with a physical manifestation. Every experience
we have walking in the Christ consciousness, a physical manifestation is taking place in us. We can't see it with the natural
eye but you can be sure it is taking place. The kingdom of God cometh not by observation.
Verse 5 And the children of Ammon gave to him the same year an
hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon
pay unto him both the second year and the third. The first year Jotham received 100 talents of silver. The first year speaks
of the feast of Passover, and silver speaks of redemption. Redemption has to do with the body and not the spirit (Romans 8:23).
The second year he received 10,000 measures of wheat. The second year speaks of the feast of Pentecost. We know Pentecost
to be an impart realm. We also know this stage here is Pentecost, because it is here in the second year or feast that he received
10,000 measures of wheat. A measure is not the fullness.
In the third year Jotham received 10,000 of barley, it was not
measured, and he received the fullness of the grain. The third year speaks to us of the feast of Tabernacles. So Jotham experiences
in life was victorious from beginning to end, because he knew what has to be is already established by the father. His life
was planned and purposed by the father. We must come to know and understand that nothing happens in our life by coincidence
or luck. It is the father that is working his good will and pleasure in our lives. Verse 6 Jotham became mighty because he
prepared his ways before the Lord his God. The word mighty here is akin to wonderful and means manifested. The word prepared
here does not mean to work or toil. The word prepared refers to a concept as established or fixed so as to be unchanging and
unchangeable. This position of prepared is applied to a roof which is firmly established on pillars. Prepared also means complete.
We know our lives are established and complete in Christ.
The word ways here speak of a lifestyle, it is from the Hebrew
word derek. So verse 6 (paraphrased) should read So Jotham became manifested because his lifestyle was established in Christ
being complete and unchangeable. Wow!! Do you see your reality here in Jotham? In the year Uzziah died, his son Jotham was
made king. He was 24 years old when his father died. He began to reign when he was 25 + 1 is 26. He reigned for 16 years16+25=
42. Seven(perfection the Christ) X Six (man) =42. Jotham speaks of a perfected people, the 42nd generation of Christ
(Matthew 1:17). Jotham means Jehovah is perfect. Isn't it mind blowing that Jehovah is the name of the man created in Genesis
1:26 and 2:7?
Verse 9 and Jotham slept with his fathers and they buried him
in the city of David. The city of David is Zion meaning sunny, light. Jotham slept, rested in his original state which is
light. John tells us God is light, as he is so are we. 2 Kings 15:38 call David his father. David means beloved. Paul says
we are accepted in the beloved (Christ). He was buried with his fathers. Let us hear what Paul have to say about the fathers
in Hebrew 12:22-23 But ye are come unto MT Zion and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable
company of angels, and to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which is written in heaven and to God the judge
of all men and to the spirits of just men made perfect.
Of these fathers Paul also said, Wherefore seeing we also are
surrounded or compassed about with so great a cloud of witness (Hebrews 12:1). The word slept and rested means the same. 2
Peter 3:4 and saying where is the promise of his coming, for since the fathers fell asleep 1 Cor.15:57 we shall not all sleep.
This is what Vines had to say, This is a metaphorical use of the word sleep, slept is appropriate, because of the similarity
in appearance between a sleeping body and a dead body, restfulness and peace normally characterize both. The object of the
metaphor is to show that, as the sleeper does not cease to exist while his body sleeps, so the dead person continues to exists
despite his absence from the region in which those who remain can communicate with him, and that, as sleep is known to be
temporary, so the death of the body is found to be.
They buried Jotham in the city of David. He was buried with, and
resurrected together with the Body of Christ identifying with the Christ. So whether we are present or absent from the body,
we are never separated from each other or from the fathers' consciousness. Jotham speaks of us, and not only of us but every
man who will come to know Christ as their true identity. It is glorious to behold because we like Jotham have seen the beginning
from the end. We have seen it is the fathers good pleasure to give us the kingdom, a kingdom that is unshakeable and without
end, a kingdom that is flowing out to all men.
I trust that you are blessed by this word of life, may you come
to know him in all his fullness.
Namaste,
