Last night I was pondering the thought of the secret of life.
I have found that with every commercial and TV ad, the general concept is how to add years to life by keeping death at bay.
Many are forced to put their bodies through rigorous exercises, strict dieting schedule, eat healthy live longer; having no
idea that death is internal. Don't misunderstand me, eating healthy and moderate exercise is a good thing, however it is not
the rule by which we live. The rule by which we live our life is the tree of life. There is no life apart from the life of
Christ, for in him we live and move and have our being. To grasp this reality we must know our roots concerning our priesthood
as sons of God. The priesthood is associated with the house of God, whose house we are. The house of God is made up of living
stones. We don't go to the house of God, we are Gods' house, tabernacle, and dwelling place. The Lord has been our dwelling
place in all generations. We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief
corner stone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
We need to come to an understanding about the truth of our priestly
calling. The only high priest in Gods' order today is in heaven. I am speaking of that heaven that is in us, where he abides
as Lord and King. We see Jesus our high priest has passed through the heavens. Has he passed through your heavens? Before
we get into the meat of the word, I would like to lay a foundation. It is so important in laying a foundation, it is laid
right the first time. There was a change in the order of the priesthood when Jesus came. Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being
changed, there is made a necessity of a change of the law. We need to understand this change before we can fully walk in the
priesthood after the order of Melchisedec.
In order to understand this truth we must come to know the secret
of life lies within us.
Not only did the priesthood change but the law changed also. Jesus
brought an end to the law, and a beginning of a more excellent ministry of grace and truth. The priesthood after an endless
life is our birthright for we were born into it. The priest of the old order was all sons of the high priest. Their priesthood
came out of their relation to their father, the high priest. They became priest because of their birth. They were born into
it, when their father the priest dies, his sons took over. In the Melchisedec order there is no death, only the power of an
endless life.
In this new order we are priest because of our relationship to
the father. This priesthood is not inherited through death. So many today have not realized that the priesthood has changed.
Little is known or taught of this Melchisedec priesthood of life. Many today still live in the Levitical order, after a carnal
commandment and traditions of men. In this new order we are taught the priesthood of every believer. We are not called to
be a kingdom with priests but a kingdom of priests. Every son is a minister because he is a priest. Every priest is a son
because he minister's (one who serves). In our daily life and living we must learn to function as priests after the order
of Melchisedec, for there is risen in the earth (my earth, your earth) another priest, and there is no question as to our
genealogy, for we came not to be ministered unto but to minister life to the world.
The reasons why so many don't see themselves as priests because
the truth about their identity has been lost by having a paid priesthood function in the capacity of clergy. The scriptures
never taught pulpit directed priesthood; this put the Body of Christ in a place of being the congregation having no life in
themselves. Paul taught the priesthood of every believer. We are a part of this royal priesthood of believers, giving life
to the world.
The book of Esther is one of the stories in the bible that teaches
on the priesthood of every believer. Esther is a type of the sons of God called to the priesthood. Esther means I will be
hidden, a star. She was enthroned, hidden in Shushan. She walked among brethren that did not know her genealogy. They did
not know where she walked or who she walked with. She was told by Mordecai not to reveal herself. Even Jesus said, "I came
not to do my own will but the will of him that sent me. Understand beloved, Hegai who is a type of the Father is doing the
work, so in the fullness of time he will reveal himself. In the mean time he hides those whom he is preparing for his service.
Now Mordecai charges Esther, keep silent as to who you are until
Gods appointed time. There is so much wisdom here that we can learn from. He tells her, don't tell anyone about your lineage
or the call of God upon your life, don't even tell them we are related. In our journey in our human experience we will be
maligned and misunderstood, this can be very difficult, but we are not to reveal our selves. This is a work of the Father.
Joseph found that out when he was thrown into prison. After he interpret the dreams of the baker and the cupbearer, he told
the cupbearer, remember me to Pharaoh, yet the Lord cause the cupbearer to forget. How could you forgot such a man as Joseph?
Yet he was forgotten, because it was the father doing the work in Joseph and not himself. Joseph had to learn the ways of
the father before he could be released to set creation free. No matter how hard we try we can never reveal the Christ in us,
it is not for you and I but in the fathers time, when he shall send forth his son.
In preparation for the priesthood, Hegai prepared the virgin Esther
for 12 months. Twelve speaks of the divine government of God. It is a state of mind where the mind of Christ is ruling and
reigning. Now the first six months Esther is given the oil of myrrh for cleansing. Myyrh speaks of suffering and pain borne
in love and compassion. We tasted of this fragrant ointment so that the life of Christ, his love and compassion can be shown
to those to whom we are sent. We must come to the reality that once we are apprehended by his love, being pressed and molded
into his character and nature, myrrh is a vital ingredient in the perparation of the priest in waiting. Myrrh will take away
that which we were birth into, the things that are not birth by the spirit, and it is replaced by that which is born of God.
After the myrrh has done its work, we have six months of being anointed with sweet spices. This is the beautifying place where
the fragrant Christ is seen.
Song of Solomon 5:1 I have gathered my myrrh with my spices. Have
you learn to recognize when you are gathering spices? We need to learn how to minister to those the father sent to us of the
fragrance of the Christ in us. We like Esther are standing on the horizon of a new day, beholding what the father has done
so that we can do what he has already done and that is set creation free. Esther came to this moment in time because she allowed
the fragrance of Christ to show forth. She desires to be the will of the father being done on earth.
When this hidden one went into the king, she obtained favor from
all. It was in the seventh year of the kings reign, in the feast of Tabernacles when Esther stood before the king. Something
awesome passed between them as he looked upon her, he saw his own image and likeness, his very nature and character emanating
from her countenance. She found grace and favor in his eyes. He loved her with his whole heart and he crowned her with the
glory of his own crown. The crown speaks of the mind of Christ. He put his crown (mind/consciousness) on her head.
Then he put on a feast for her, this feast is where he dwells
in union as the all in all. He was one with her, but did she know it? Esther 2:17 say, And the king loved Esther above all
the women, and he obtained favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and
made her queen instead of Vashty. She was queen, and the time came for her to function in her true office and identity, and
she feared greatly. The time came for her to minister life to those around her and she doubted her existence and reality.
She sent back word and said, I can't go before the king, for the
king has not called me into his presence for 30 days. Thirty is the number of maturity. Before any son can function as a priest
he must be fully matured. He must pass thirty days. Esther thought she could escape her role just by living in the kings house.
She did not realize she was one with the king, an extension of who he is where ever she was. She thought she could work this
one up. Then she spoke her famous words, bid all my people to fast for me and I will go into the king and if I perish I perish.
Her focus was on herself, she thought it was all about her. She did not realize she died when he died. We need to understand
we are one with the king and his house is always open and available to us at all times.
She forgot she was wearing his crown; she had his scepter, his
authority. What was she going before the king to ask? She was going to ask for life, the secret of life that was already living
inside her. She had the Melchisedec priest hood within her and she did not know it. She was living in the green room, the
living room, the loving room feasting on things thats made for life, yet her eyes could not see it, because she was seeing
that which is external. She was experiencing a realm that held no reality for her. We have a priesthood not in shadow or type
but in reality. It is time for the priest to arise in our earth. Esther was a priest with a fear of functioning in the reality.
We need to learn how to function from the priesthood inside of
us. We are abiding a priest continually. We are remitting and retaining for the kingdom of God. The kingdom is within us;
whatever is of the father will establish righteousness, peace and joy. The life of the father will flow freely and we will
not have to intercede or beg for it. Wherever we are his life will flow, our life for the life of the world. When Esther approached
the king he held out his scepter, which speaks of his authority and walk. She had his crown (mind), the scepter (she was ruling
and walking in his authority) yet she did not understand the union. She went before him and still could not ask for life.
Instead she invited the king and Haman to a banquet. Haman speaks
of the old man identity. So she said, If I have found favor in thy sight O king, and if it pleased the king, let my life be
given at my petition, and my people at my request. She did not realize her rights and privilege as a son and a priest. Whatever
she had extended to all people, she could bring deliverance wherever she walked. Esther 7:5, The king said unto Esther the
queen, who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so. Esther told the king it was Haman. The banquet
that Esther held was not in the kings house or in his garden.
After hearing what Esther said in verse 7 the king arising from
the banquet of wine in wrath went into the palace garden, yet Esther did not follow the king into his garden. Verse 8 the
king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine, and there Haman was fallen upon the bed where
Esther was. Then said the king, will he (not you) force the queen also before me in the house? This is very important (vs.
8) as the word went out of the kings mouth, they covered Hamans face. Covered is #2645, 2644, 2653 to cover by implication,
to veil, over lay. Face is #6440 form, presence, the face as a part that is turn, comes from 6437 to face, cast out, mark,
face self, to appear as when Jacob wrestle with the man until day light. The king was full of wrath. Wrath is #2534 hot displeasure,
#2346 meaning to join.
The king was angry, displeased, hurt because he was joined to
her in union and oneness and she did not know it. When he asks her who it is she produced her old man identity. As he asks
who it is his words covered Hamans face. Word is # 1697, 1696 declare, used figuratively of words, glory, and favor. The king
was upset because she did not recognize the life flowing from her was really him and not who she thought. When the king came
in she was struggling with Haman (the old man identity) upon her couch. Her couch is her bed of rest. She was pleading for
her life, when she should be resting, bringing life to the world in his time.
So the king took Haman and hung him on the gallows for all to
see. Gallows is # 6086, 6095 to close the eyes. Esther was living outside the kings palace so all she saw was death. The king
had to change Esthers vision and perception of herself and her people, by turning her eyes inward to her source of life. After
renewing her vision life began to flow from her and Esther destroyed, brought an end to what was killing her people. She reversed
the decree of death. Death could not rule over her, because she was a vessel, a priest with the power of an endless life.
The Christ is us always have something to give to humanity, his supply is inexhaustible. Let us who are called to minister
life minister it not sparingly but abundantly to all of creation.
