Matthew 13:24-30, This is such a misunderstood parable among the teachers of Christendom but let us hear what the Father is saying by his Spirit today. The word enemy in verse 28 comes from the Greek word "echthros" #2190 meaning hateful, hostile, adversary. Colossians 1:21 say, "And  you who once were alienated and enemies in your mind  by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled." The word 'enemies' same word in Matthew 13:28 (echthros) #2190 hateful, hostile, adversary. The enemy here is the carnal mind.  How did we become enemies in our minds? John 1:29, "Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world." What is the sin? The Greek word for sin in the bible is Harmatia and it means to  "(miss the mark). That mark is the glory, essence, nature and characteristic of God. The bible tells us, "Mark the perfect man and we know that man to be Christ.

 

How did we all miss the mark? We missed it by being lowered into this physical realm of human consciousness and identity. Our realm of existence and reality is Spirit. Our spirit was lowered into this earth and we took on the form of this physical identity. Our spirit was covered over by this earthly realm being formed from the dust of the ground. We are are spiritual beings given a human experience. In Genesis 1:26-27 God created us spiritual beings. This lowering was into the earth/grave/hell. Hell is defined for us as a covering, so as the natural grave covers over the body with earth, so our spirit was covered over by the flesh or physical form. Psalm 6:5 say, "in the grave (sheol) there is no rememberance (of our true reality and existence)."

 

When our Spirit was lowered into the ground, we forgot who we were and so we took on the form rather than the reality. Upon entering this physical realm of death and darkness much like the grave, we entered not knowing our true identity or origin. Ecclesiates 9:5 The dead (in Adam) know nothing, for the memory of them is forgotten." Paul said, "For as in Adam all died, so in Christ Jesus shall all be made alive." Thank God we are now waking up from the sleep of Adam to our true nature and identity. Man was created pure spirit in the image and likeness of God, and  chosen in Christ unto good works before the foundation (disruption) of the world. Jesus said, "He that is born of spirit is spirit."

 

Matthew 13:37-42 Jesus said that a man went and sowed good seed in his field. The field represents the ground. We know that mankind was formed from the dust of the ground. The good seed (sperma) that was sown in the ground was the mind of Christ/our true identity and reality. While men slept in the grave/physical realm, the enemy came and sowed the tare. The enemy is the carnal mind, and the tare that he sowed is the mistaken identity ( that we are human beings separated from God). The tare is the seed of the serpent or carnal mind. We know that Eve is a type of the soul, the mother of all living. The thoughts are birth in the loins of the soul/mind. Every man entering this physical/flesh realm has to come through the carnal mind or soul from where we receive the mistaken identity.

 

In all reality we could never be separated from God, he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. We came out of God and we return to God. So many people all their life struggled with the carnal mind, trying to improve upon themselves, not knowing that their life is hid with Christ in God, and all men have been reconciled to God. Not knowing the truth that they are living in a state of a mistaken identity and that mistaken identity will never be God or God like,  there is a constant struggle to please the father.  The answer to that problem  is to discover that we are a spiritual people, having the mind of Christ, with the nature and character of God and  one with him.

 

How could we be anything less than what he is in nature, character and being. In the parable of the sower, Jesus said, "Let both grow together, at the end of the age (a set time) the angels (a reaper, heat, summer) will come forth and separate the wheat from the tares. It is the fire of God that is burning away the old man identity. The heavens (spiritual mind) is on fire. The separation is taking place in our minds (thinking). The tare is your human identity. We need to realize that we are a spirit being created in the likeness and image of God. No one can teach this to us, this must come by revelation. Your life did not begin when you entered this physical realm. We are a seed that fell into the ground and died, so that the life of God can flow to all men. We took on flesh and blood and died to our true identity, but that has changed because we are as he is, being conformed to his image and likeness. Understand beloved, you are perfect already and the perfection that abides within you, in the most holy place and  is flowing out of you to all of creation. This is our present state of reality. The kingdom of God/the mind of Christ is simply his life living and flowing out of you.
