You were there to love me,
When no hope I couldn't see,
Your gentle arms it lead my days,
As I learn to trust your ways.
You were there each step of the way,
Unfolding my nights as day.
My life becoming one with you,
Your light in me shines through.
You were there as I learn to be,
An expression of the Christ in me,
Every area of my life I see you,
Loving and living life as me.
